Happy Birthday Madelyn!

Madelyn turned 1 year old on Saturday. Wow, time has flown!! We feel so blessed each and every day to have this special child in our lives. Happy birthday Madelyn!

She had her own cake to taste. She carefully reached for the icing polka dots and ate them one at a time. She thought it was yummy!

"Hmmm, this is good stuff!"

The cakes turned out so pretty. The big one was for the adults and the smaller one was for Madelyn. (But, we finished it off for her!)

Several very special guests joined Madelyn to celebrate her special day, including Mimi, Nana, Aunt Barbara, Grammy, Papaw, Uncle Matt, Aunt Nori, Laura, and Gray.

The Birthday Girl wanted the bow out of her hair!

She loved her new shoes! This sleepy birthday girl skipped her naps and was VERY sleepy by the time the fun was over.

Mommy and Daddy gave Madelyn a baby grand piano. She liked it a lot!

She composed a few masterpieces before the afternoon was over.

My First Pool Party

Madelyn got in a swimming pool for the first time on Saturday at her friend Sydnie's 1st birthday party. She loved every minute of it!! She especially liked splashing her dad!

"Wow, this is fun!!"

She had a good time sharing a raft with her friend Camryn. They are neighbors and are just one day apart in age.

Madelyn had a great time exploring Grammy's jewelry box. She found LOTS of things she liked!

Daddy's Birthday

Saturday was Daddy's birthday. Madelyn has been a real Daddy's girl for almost a week now. She loves her Daddy!!

Madelyn was such a good girl when we took Daddy out to eat. She loves going to restaurants!

What a pretty girl in her new outfit from Aunt Amy. She was accessorized from head to toe!

11 Months Old!

Madelyn turned 11 months old on May 24. She is getting so close to being 1 year old!! Look close and you'll see her two little teeth.
