Madelyn took a few quick tastes of the cake before the candle was lit.
It was so yummy that she just couldn't stop eating the icing!
Her favorite thing was the balloons!
She got a stroller for her dolls (and anything else that would fit into it). She loved pushing it around!
"Um, Dad, I think you're supposed to hit it that direction."

Madelyn experienced her first plane ride last week when we went to Destin, Florida, for a 6-night vacation provided by Dad's company. She preferred to ride in Mom's lap so that she could see out of the window.
Right before take-off . . . she was taking it all in.
Getting a little friendly with the people in front of us. Thankfully they didn't mind a little girl playing with their hair!
The little traveler was very tired after we landed.
