Madelyn was curious to see what the Easter Bunny brought. Her basket had some stuffed animals, bath toys, bunny slippers, baby food, a new bunny bib, and plastic eggs. She liked the eggs best of all!
"Yummm . . . my favorites!!"
We had a wonderful Easter weekend with Madelyn. She had so much fun on her first Easter!
Madelyn went to her first Easter Egg Hunt while visiting Grammy and Papaw in Arkansas. She was glad that her Papaw helped her find some pretty eggs!
Here she is tossing an egg into the basket. She would put them in then throw them out!

"Are there any more eggs in this basket??"
Madelyn really loved it when Dad let her sit in a tree. She thought it was a really fun chair!
She felt so big!

This was taken right before we left. This sleepy girl couldn't even muster a smile. 
This was Madelyn's first time to sit in grass. She was a little unsure at first . . .
"The grass was so soft and green. Maybe playing in the grass could be fun?!"
"This prickly green stuff feels funny on my hand!!"
Too bad you can't see her face in this one. She thought that this little pool of water was neat! Maybe she thought it was an outdoor bathtub.
Hard to believe that this beautiful scenery is in Dallas. The waterfall really captivated Madelyn. White Rock Lake made for an amazing backdrop.
What a wonderful day!
If you look closely you'll see that this edgeless pool of water seems to drop off into the big lake in the background. We all enjoyed our day so much!!
